Suicide prevention is a critical issue in all parts of the world including the United States. There are many national suicide prevention programs such as Suicide Prevention Week and the yellow ribbon for raising awareness and showing support. One organization that facilitates the national suicide prevention program is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
